Haven’t they Grown by Sophie Hannah Book Review

This one prompted more of a conversation.  Good pace of plot. An intriguing idea with a plot that revolves around two families. It did however, provoke some differences of opinion…

“Conversations with teenage girls are spot on and well captured”

“I found the teenage dialogue was really annoying.”

“Really enjoyed the plot.”

“Very difficult to suspend my disbelief. Read it just to get it finished.

“Too much dialogue/action and not enough depth or description to draw you in.  Several scenes that you couldn’t imagine happening. Too many lies upon lies upon lies – got boring after a while.”

Overall score 5.4

Range 4 – 6.5
