Do No Harm by Jack Jordan

We had high expectation of this book given the reviews we had seen, but, whilst we all agreed it was a good premise for a novel, with a potentially gripping moral dilemma at its heart, we were very divided on whether it actually worked, with our responses ranging from reading it in one go to not being able to get past the first few chapters. In the main, we were interested enough to want to know how it all played out, but we didn’t find any of the characters likeable or relatable. There were just too many unlikely coincidences and scenarios for us all to suspend our disbelief enough and give it a resounding thumbs up. It did however, beg the question of what we might do in the same circumstances.
