Thriller. Newly-weds Dan and Bea decide to escape London. Driving through France in their clapped-out car they anticipate a long, lazy summer. Stopping off at Bea’s brother’s crumbling hotel, the trip are joined unexpectedly by her wealthy parents. Dan has never understood Bea’s sense of discomfort around them, but once in their company he begins to sense that something is very wrong.

Paris. 1942.  An architect accepts a commission that will bring him huge wealth – and perhaps a death sentence. The brief, to design a hiding place for a wealthy Jewish man, a space so invisible it won’t be discovered by even the most determined of Nazi soldiers. When one of his other designs fails horribly, the commission becomes personal and he has to come to terms with the enormity of his project. What does he owe to his fellow men and how far will he go to make things right?
