What a thought-provoking book! We know that ultra-processed food isn’t good for us, but this gave me a lot to think about. It’s an excellent resource for making up your own mind about how you want to tackle the issue for you and your family. It’s honest about the challenges in changing behaviours yet it’s not judgemental or prescriptive. It’s science and research-based yet accessible to non scientists like me. Comprehensive and wide-ranging in its analysis – marketing, psychology, commercial drivers, economics, regulation, conflicts of interest, exercise, diet myths, nutrition plus the physiological impacts. I listened to it but there is so much information to digest, that it’s a book I think I will want to dip back into from time to time so, if you are considering it, an actual copy would be good to have.
